Emer Eddery
I qualified as an Osteopath in 2012 from the British School of Osteopathy in London. Prior to this I had completed a yoga teacher training in Hatha yoga and an ITEC diploma in Reflexology. When I discovered Osteopathy it seemed a natural progression to decide to pursue studies and consider this career.
I enjoy the clinic environment, meeting people, understanding the story that has brought them to need treatment and engaging to encourage a return to health. Osteopathy treats each case as the individual and I feel that the patient can become more aware of their own health choices through the process of understanding the factors affecting them.
After graduating I worked for five years in a busy practice in County Mayo and for three years in Cavan town. I am currently back living in Dublin which is where I am originally from.
Since graduating I completed further studies in Cranial Osteopathy, Visceral and Classical Osteopathy.
I enjoy yoga, dance, walking in my free time and I am always interested to learn more about anything in complementary health.
